The Wadden Sea
This beautiful natural area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is perfect for long walks, with its ever-changing views.
The constant ebb and flow of the tides keep the mudflats in motion. Some sandbanks disappear beneath the water at high tide and reappear only at low tide. Alongside the many Wadden Islands, there are also several sandbanks that remain above water, making them ideal spots for seals and birds.
We can enjoy all this beauty from a respectful distance.
